Corrections

CiteFuel welcomes specific challenges to its facts, data, methods, attribution, and product descriptions. A correction request does not need to come from a customer or subject of the page.

Report an issue

Email research@citefuel.com for research or data issues, or support@citefuel.com for other pages. Include the page URL, the exact statement or figure in question, why it appears incorrect, and any primary source or reproducible evidence that supports the change.

What happens next

1. A human reviews the cited passage, source record, data, and relevant implementation or methodology.
2. If more information is needed, we may ask for a reproducible example or source clarification.
3. If the claim is materially wrong or misleading, we correct it and add a dated note describing what changed and why.
4. If the evidence does not support a change, we keep the original wording but may clarify the boundary or limitation.

Correction notices

Material corrections are noted on the affected page near the publication metadata or corrected section. The notice identifies the date and substance of the change. Routine spelling, formatting, link maintenance, or wording changes that do not alter meaning may be made without a correction notice. When a research correction changes a downloadable aggregate dataset, the publication will identify the revised file or date.

Correction decisions follow the same evidence, authorship, AI-assistance, funding, and conflict rules in our editorial policy. CiteFuel is owned and operated by VantaWeb; ownership does not remove the obligation to correct a substantiated error.
