About CiteFuel
CiteFuel is an AI visibility audit tool that outputs deployable fix files — not just scores. It runs 23 published checks across the AI citation stack (crawler access, llms.txt, schema, passage citability, technical foundation, live AI presence) and hands you the artifacts: a complete llms.txt, a robots.txt AI-rules block, JSON-LD patches, and rewritten citable passages.
Why we built it
The GEO tool market grew up as a monitoring market. Dashboards tell you your citation share, your brand sentiment, your visibility score — and then the report sits in a tab, because translating "your citability score is 34" into actual file changes requires knowing what llms.txt looks like, where robots.txt lives, and which JSON-LD fields are broken. Teams with $2,000/month enterprise GEO platforms still spend weeks on that translation.
We ran those translations by hand enough times to notice the pattern: the audit is 10% of the value; the files are the other 90%. So CiteFuel generates the files. Every audit ships with guards — llms.txt entries verified against your own sitemap, schema domain-locked and validated, passage rewrites checked for factual overlap with your original text so nothing is invented.
The transparency stance
"AI score" tools have a snake-oil problem, and the antidote is publishing the methodology. Every check CiteFuel runs, every weight, and every pass/fail rule is public at /methodology. If you think a weight is wrong, email us — disagreement makes the scoring better.
Who's behind it
CiteFuel is built by Hunter Spence, a cloud infrastructure engineer (ex-Accenture infrastructure transformation) based in Florida. The audit engine, crawler fleet, and fix generators run on infrastructure he operates directly — the same discipline that keeps enterprise systems honest, applied to GEO.
The practical details
- Free tier: a real audit with a real partial fix (starter llms.txt + one rewritten passage) — not a teaser score.
- Guarantee: paid audits surface at least 3 actionable P0/P1 gaps or you get a full refund.
- Crawler ethics: our own bot identifies itself, rate-limits to 1 req/s, and honors opt-outs — /bot.
- Contact: hello@citefuel.com — replies from a human.
